CLIVE FORTIS

Clive's background includes working in banking and finance for some 10 years, dealing with all aspects of lending and recovery situations. In 1996 Clive joined a large accountancy practice and having qualified as a certified chartered accountant opted to specialise in Insolvency. With extensive banking and turnaround expertise he has worked closely with a number of leading banks on high risk businesses.

As well as working in practice Clive has experienced life within industry and worked as a Finance Director within a turnaround team for a manufacturing company. Clive assisted the CEO in cutting overheads in order to set out a long term recovery strategy.		 clive and sandy

Work Recently undertaken in the Midlands:

  • Advising local licensed premises with a view to selling the Company as a going concern (Oxford)
  • Successfully selling a recruitment agency out of Administration and safeguarding 70 jobs and a number of key contracts (Birmingham)
  • Negotiating the sale of a Steel manufacturers in Administration (Leicester)
  • Advising farmers on cash flow issues (Suffolk)
  • Advising numerous construction companies on cash management in order to safeguard cashflow (Birmingham)

This is in addition to helping to find solutions to a number of individuals' personal financial problems.
